Over the course you will learn how to:
Use a computer
Make sense of the language used
Create, save and print documents
Learn how to use Microsoft Office
Set up E-mails

This course develops your word ,Internet and email skills
Its designed for learners with a basic knowledge of computers
You will learn One or more of the following :
Create and send Emails
- use publisher
- Search the internet
- Change Word documents for example CV or create invitation
- Use simple autosums using excel

Functional Mathematics Entry 2 & 3 & Levels 1 and 2
The classes are held every Friday 9.30 - 12.00 you can join throughout the year just give us a call
Functional Mathematics Level 1 and Level 2 aims to promote mathematical thinking and transferable skills.
Students will also cover:
- Maths that is useful in everyday situations and the world of work.
- Material which emphasises the benefits of maths to people who have previously been 'turned off' by the subject.
The Functional Mathematics specification is suitable for students of various ages and from diverse backgrounds.
The Level 1 qualification in Functional Mathematics provides a good basis for progression to Level 2 in
Functional Mathematics and GCSE.

This course helps students develop applied skills in English, enabling them to get the most from life, learning and work. Using separate tasks, it assesses: Entry 3 to level 1
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking, listening and communication.
The course is suitable for those who can show the outlined skills at the appropriate level.
Students can take different units of the qualification in different terms, depending on the demand of the unit.

Then this is the course for you
- learn to identify hidden disabilites
- Learn about safeguarding and prevent (and gain valuable certificates) especially around vulnerable adults
- Understand the policies and procedures around volunteering

- Using the different types of office equipment.
- How to use Microsoft applications.

Class runs every Thursday & Friday 9.30 - 11.30
(please note you need to attend both sessions)

This course is designed for learners who have a very basic knowledge of English and wish to improve their skills
There are various levels - Entry 1, 2 & 3 up to level 1
Learners will complete three units:
- Writing
